Yestaday!
May 1, 2012
Yesterday I didn’t even have 1 second available to do a post. The day was go, go, go!
I woke up in the morning and had a bowl of Oats, plus one piece of gluten-free toast with a little bit of cookie butter and banana.
Tyeson wanted me to show you all his beautiful creation on wheat toast, nutella, bananas, and strawberries. He made this for himself and his mama yesterday, and again this morning. How cute is that? I hope when I have little boy, he will be just as sweet when he’s 8 🙂
After breakfast I went out to run some errands. I had to send off a camera to my cousin that I never use, pick up a Birthday book for my friend (or at least try), and stop by Ralphs to his the Bar Sale! Haha, I filled that bag! Bars are sooo convenient for me because I am always on the go with babysitting. By the way, the book I was trying to pick up was Intuitive Eating. Barnes and Nobles was all out! Looks like I have to go with Amazon!
After running errands, I had this White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Clif Bar before my BUTT-KICKING workout.
I did a Step Class for an hour (seriously kicked my butt) and then worked out another hour with my cousin Megan. Let’s just say after the gym yesterday I was BEAT.
Food break- how cute is little Griffin? I love this picture! I am a lucky Nanny!
Okay, back to the food, for lunch yesterday I went to Blenders in the Grass with my Dad to get smoothies. I was craving Peanut Butter like no other, so I got a smoothie packed with protein (and calories) called “The Peanut Butter.” Oh my gosh! Can I have this everyday of my life, please? (That’s only allowed if I work out that hard everyday! Haha!)
After I was done babysitting yesterday, I came home and snacked on celery, carrots, and hummus. I need to remember to eat all the veggies that I bought!
For dinner, I had gluten-free corn pasta with pesto, tofu, and a little bit of mozzarella cheese. Holy cow was this good! Seriously the cheese made it delicious and it was so so so simple. Why are simple things so good?
For dessert, I had two 88% Dark Chocolate Squares from Endangered Species. Mmm! Totally satisfied me!
After dessert, I headed off to home group and had a great rest of the evening with friends! Such good fellowship. I am so grateful for my many amazing friends. I love real, honest, loving people. Who doesn’t? 🙂
