Daily Eats: Coaching Spaces, Moana, and Feeling Full on Life

Good-morning!

Today I am sharing days 10-11 of eats with you from my January #31DaysofEats Challenge. If you’d like to share your eats along with me post them on Instagram (in your feed or story) and use the hashtag above. Make sure to tag @paigeschmidt so I can see/share your post and regram it in my story!

I’m doing this challenge for myself in a simple effort to share more daily intuitive/non-diet eats with all of you. These post are my *most* requested and the *most* missed when I don’t share them.

Before we dive in, I want to remind us all that these posts are not for comparison. Rather, these posts are here to provide you with inspiration for food ideas and to give YOU the freedom and permission to listen to YOUR BODY as I listen to mine, apart from food rules or dieting.

Thank you so much for being here and I hope you enjoy! Leave a comment when you finish reading!

Day 10

You guys. These past two days it’s been really busy around here. What I’m sensing is that 2018 is a year where a lot of women are fed up with dieting/strict plans (I hear ya!) and are seeking more personalized and lasting support. So, needless to say my coaching spaces are going really quickly.

A GoMacro bar and Coffee to tide me over through my first morning meeting with Ana from The She Approach.

That said, the past two days have a been a little funky appetite-wise, meaning, I’ve been so excited about new clients and so busy getting these women started for January and February (we’re booked out until March now) that my primary food tank is overflowing and I haven’t been thinking about food unless my stomach is literally growling at me…

Keep that in mind as you read these eats because I definitely ate less than I normally would. Wednesday morning I grabbed a GoMacro bar to tide me over through my first morning meeting with Ana from The She Approach who’s helping me with my Pinterest and business coaching.

A couple of boiled eggs sprinkled with Everything But the Bagel seasoning from Trader Joe's. The perfect snack that's easy to grab from the fridge.

After my meeting with Ana I snacked on a couple of boiled eggs that were easy to grab from the fridge. I sprinkled them with Everything But the Bagel seasoning from Trader Joe’s. This was the perfect snack to hold me over through my morning Discovery Session with a new client.

An easy grab protein drink sprinkled with cinnamon. I added a straw to make it feel more special.

After that session I had a meeting with on of my assistants, Karly Prichard (who is the BOMB.COM if any of you are looking for help in your business, especially with design and branding). During our meeting I sipped on this protein drink that I stole from Marco’s stash. Again, an easy grab. I sprinkled it with cinnamon and added a straw to make it feel more special 😉

After my call with Karly it was office-work time. I had new clients to get set up, emails to answer, FB groups to check-in on for Finally Free, and some organizing to do. While I was checking-in with clients I got this sweet message from a grad-client:

“I thought of you as I was really diving into some major self care tonight. I had a rough day and just felt so defeated. Tonight I filled up a nice epsom salt bath, lit a few candles, put on a face mask, and caught up on the most recent episode of the Bachelor. It was SO REJUVENATING. I could just as easily have parked myself on the couch to watch my show and stress eat, but I didn’t! Ah, it feels so good!”

Ah, I love this! See more stories from my grads on this page

Chicken curry with A LOT of green beans with quinoa (yum!).

My hunger struck me real good around 3:00 PM so I stopped my work (had no more calls for the day) took a break, and heated up some leftover curry and made some quinoa to add to it. This was what we were having for dinner too, but I didn’t care. I wanted something solid to put in my stomach and hey, that’s what leftovers are for!

Chicken curry with A LOT of green beans (huge fan, hi!), quinoa, and garlic naan bread for dinner. Mmm, so good!

I ended work around 6:30, cleaned up my office/house and heated up dinner for Marco and I: the last of the curry with quinoa and naan bread. After dinner we cleaned up the kitchen, got cozy in PJ’s, watched a movie and went to bed early. Ah, I love relaxing evenings.

Speaking of relaxing evenings… here’s another message that a client posted on Instagram that inspired me!

“Today, I did the unthinkable thing that I never allow myself to do after work: I took a nap. 😴 No matter how tired I am or how good it sounds, I never let myself lay down because then I won’t be able to get anything done off my never-ending to-do list. But this week, I haven’t been feeling great 🤧 & the weather basically begged me to do it…🌧 Good thing I did because I feel so much better & ready to wrap up my night the right way: with some candles and The Crown on Netflix. 🙌🏻 👑 Self-care, people!!! It changes everything! 💜 #makeitapriority #noregrets (Thanks @paigeschmidt you rock!)”

Day 11

Thursday morning I woke up, had quiet time, blogged to all of you in a VIP Q+A post where I answered: "How can I stop eating when I'm full?" Click here to read that post. After that I got dressed in a leftover outfit (this is what I wore Wednesday and it was still clean, so here we are again!).

Two eggs over-medium with two small slices of sourdough and a side of hummus. Hummus really doesn't photograph well does it? Ha!

After getting dressed I took a work break and made two eggs (over-medium) with two small slices of sourdough and a side of hummus. Hummus really doesn’t photograph well, does it? Ha!

Simi Botic's book, "Letting Go of Leo," finally came! You can grab a copy too!

I worked through the day, sent new client packages (I love that our post-office is within walking distance) to a US client and a London client. When I went to the post office I checked our PO BOX and LOOK WHAT CAME. Simi’s book! You can grab a copy for yourself here!

Chicken curry with A LOT of green beans (huge fan, hi!) and quinoa for lunch. I could eat curry every. single. day. Anyone else?

When I got home I took a break and made the last of the leftover curry (so sad it’s gone) for lunch. I could eat curry every. single. day. Anyone else?

After lunch I got back to work, finished sending client packages and thoroughly enjoyed another Discovery Session with the sweetest new client.

A Steak Cobb salad with the blue cheese on the side and Italian dressing from Firestone at San Luis Obispo's farmers market. So good!

When I ended work I closed up shop in my office, straightened up the house (cleaned the 5 cups/mugs that I use through the day – HA! Anyone else? – set the coffee pot for the next day, etc.) and walked with Marco to dinner.

We went to Firestone, which I was so looking forward to. We try and go out most Thursday nights because we have a farmers market here in town that is so fun to walk around. All of the restaurants bring out food tents and serve on the street and there’s entertainment on every corner.

We usually walk around and then park ourselves at either Firestone or Marston’s (one of my favorite bars). Anyway, at Firestone I got a Steak Cobb salad with the blue cheese on the side (they put A LOT on) and Italian dressing. So good!

I also had a Coors Light that Marco had to help me finish. Ha! Oh, and Marco and I always split a side of half onion rings half fries. When you order it this way they basically give you the same amount of fries with 4 onion rings on top. Win-win all around!

In other news…

  • Like I said, you gals are on fire and have filled my coaching spaces for January AND February. So let’s talk coaching and what to do if you’re looking for a space because we can still work together! Here’s what to do:
    • Book a Discovery Session now for February (I have TWO spaces open for March – def a good idea to grab a space now). Fill out the form on this page. If we decide to work together, you’ll get free courses and free support via email while you wait.
    • If you’d like to do a course first, to get a taste of what it’s like to work with me, you can start a course now and if you’d like to work together afterward you can request a Discovery Session then. Just remember, signing up for the six-month program first gives you FREE access to ALL of these courses. See my courses here.
    • I ALSO have a program called “A Year with Paige.” It’s a private, one on one year long coaching mentorship where we talk once per quarter (you also get free email support though the year) and I’m only sharing about it with people who inquire privately through email. If you’re interested, email paige@paigeschmidt.com.
    • If any of this is unclear or you’d just like to ask me directly, email me (email above). I’m more than happy to talk with you.
  • In other IMPORTANT news I’ve also recently discovered my favorite song in the whole world from the Moana soundtrack. If you want to have the best day ever, just listen to it! Who else loves this song? It’s on repeat. Do you think Marco is sick of hearing it yet? Haha!

Thank you so much for being here gals! Are you enjoying this daily eats series? I’m having so much fun with it…! This weekend I’ll be recharging, relaxing, spending time with friends, and reading… a lot! What are your intentions for this weekend?

Love, Paige
