Today I am sharing days 17-18 of eats with you from my January #31DaysofEats Challenge. If you’d like to share your eats along with me post them on Instagram (in your feed or story) and use the hashtag above. Make sure to tag @paigeschmidt so I can see/share your post and regram it in my story!
I’m doing this challenge for myself in a simple effort to share more daily intuitive/non-diet eats with all of you. These post are my *most* requested and the *most* missed when I don’t share them.
Before we dive in, I want to remind us all that these posts are not for comparison. Rather, these posts are here to provide you with inspiration for food ideas and to give YOU the freedom and permission to listen to YOUR BODY as I listen to mine, apart from food rules or dieting.
Thank you so much for being here and I hope you enjoy! Leave a comment when you finish reading!
Wednesday morning started off with quiet time, blogging my daily eats, and breakfast: two slices of brown rice toast, cashew/kale pesto, hard boiled egg (two eggs sliced vertically into three pieces each) and Everything But the Bagel seasoning. This has been my fav breakfast lately!
After breakfast I got dressed for the day and started meeting with clients right away. It’s been a jam packed week full of clients and our sessions have been on fire wonderful. Love my girls and how much they open up to me, so much.
I shared on Instagram last night what my client Kim sent me this week:
“At this half way mark in our program I have already noticed a difference. My mood and outlook on life and situations have gotten so much better. I have started to feel more comfortable around foods that once felt like guilt. I am feeling more comfortable in my skin and confident in my actions and how I chose to live my life. I feel a little lighter on my feet. I have managed to lose 4 pounds just from changing my perspective on food and exercise. Certain things are starting to feel like they aren’t a chore anymore or a hassle to me and my daily life. I am finding new joy in reading, cooking, and yoga. Journaling has also helped me to get my feelings out and move on. I am amazed that after just six sessions I feel this way. I was expecting this at the end, not halfway 🙂 I get so much out of our phone calls, each time. Everything we’ve talked about has made me think more and has given me a better perspective. I appreciate that I keep working on myself to make myself better in so many ways.” – KIM S.
I share this to celebrate Kim, who I ADORE, and to share what is POSSIBLE FOR YOU. As I always say to myself and my clients “If someone else can do it, you can too.” I have that written on my client stories page too, because it’s TRUE.
Set aside any limiting beliefs that tell you “you can’t” or “you’re not good enough” or “they have something you don’t have” because it’s not true. You’ve got this too! Seriously.
I had two morning clients and three evening clients. In between, I landed myself at Kruezburg coffee again because I had to have that bagel again. It was so good the day before! I ordered a cappuccino to go with it this time. Asia came and met me and we worked for about an hour together.
The bagel that I’m all over right now. It’s an everything bagel slightly toasted, cream cheese, spring mix, tomato, cucumber and avocado. SO good.
I even went to Whole Foods yesterday and got similar ingredients so I can remake it at home! And when I meet friends for coffee this weekend guess where I’m going and what I’m getting? HA!
When I got home I met with two more clients. Right before my final session for the day I took a quick 10 minute break and whipped up some tuna and snacked on about half of this tuna with a few crackers and hummus. So good! Gave the rest to Marco. Easy! Back to work I went.
After work I closed up shop in my office, put everything away, planned out my next day, shut the doors and warmed up dinner. Dinner was the last of the leftover Pho from the weekend topped with a ton of bean sprouts, basil, cilantro, and green onions.
After dinner Marco and I watched a movie and about halfway through I had some popcorn because my tummy was grumbling. This was also leftover – from last Friday when I watched Moana.
Thursday morning started off with quiet time, checking in with clients via email, breakfast and grocery shopping before my client day started. Breakfast was the last of my hummus and brown rice toast with sliced boiled egg on top and more Everything But the Bagel seasoning from TJ’s.
Yesterdays outfit was decidedly my cozy studio pants and a workout top. I wanted to be extra cozy while I met with my five back to back clients. This was a perfect outfit choice for yesterday. I was comfortable and able to feel present all day.
In between clients, around noon, I stopped and quickly warmed up this vegetable Amy’s lasagna that I bought at Whole Foods earlier that morning. I topped it with cilantro. Yum! This was the GF/Vegan one and it was really tasty! Felt light on my stomach, too.
Through my client sessions I also sipped on this Kombucha which I LOVED. So refreshing and energizing. Will definitely be buying this again. I got a couple others to try as well, so I’ll let you all know how they are.
Before my last client of the day I made some ginger tea and snacked on this GoMacro bar. I wanted to remain really present and focused, so I knew a snack would help me do that. Don’t want my energy getting low when I’m meeting with clients. They get my full attention.
After work I met up with Marco and his friend who were out at Marston’s grabbing a beer. They walked backed to the house to get me – very appreciated! This is our Thursday night thing – to go out to eat on Farmer’s Market night. It’s always fun because downtown is FULL of people.
I got gin and lime, shaken in a martini glass, per usual! My favorite drink. Just enjoyed one.
For dinner I ordered the “Healthy Pita” which sounds kinda lame but was so good. I’ve been on a hummus kick. The pita had hummus, chipotle agave sauce, chicken, veggies and feta cheese. Yum! I got a side salad with blue cheese dressing on the side. So good! Perfect and felt so light.
