Daily Eats: Brown Rice Pasta + Using the Weekend to Recharge

I’m doing this challenge for myself in a simple effort to share more daily intuitive/non-diet eats with all of you. These post are my *most* requested and the *most* missed when I don’t share them.

Before we dive in, I want to remind us all that these posts are not for comparison. Rather, these posts are here to provide you with inspiration for food ideas and to give YOU the freedom and permission to listen to YOUR BODY as I listen to mine, apart from food rules or dieting.

Day Four

Yesterday started out with quiet time, sharing this daily eats post with you and breakfast which was two eggs over-medium and a slice of multigrain brown rice toast (yum!).

After breakfast I threw on some clothes (still going strong, guys!) and headed to Toyota with Marco to drop my car off for a service.

Yesterday was a full client day, so when I got back home it was time to dive straight into sessions through 5:00 PM.

I took a break at about 11:30 to have lunch with Marco, which he picked up for us. Urbane Cafe, wahoo! My favorite… I ordered the Urbane Cafe salad with balsamic. On top: avocado, pecans, chicken, pear slices and goat cheese. I could eat this every. dang. day.

After lunch it was back to work for me. I had an awesome Discovery Session and a handful more client sessions (always wonderful – you gals know who you are, and I love you!).

When I got off work at 5:00 I closed up shop, got cozy, turned on some music and cooked a super simple dinner. Brown rice pasta with tomato basil marinara, ground turkey (lesson: I prefer ground chicken or beef), goat cheese and broccoli. The Mr. skipped the goat cheese (always) and broccoli.

About an hour after dinner we were watching a movie and I still felt hungry so I grabbed a little bit more pasta, just plain. Simple, easy, did the trick.

Ah, it’s Friday, and I’m in need of some recharge time. It’s been a busy and eventful workweek, which has been incredible. Now I need to unplug, nap, and recharge myself. Anyone else?
