Good morning girls 🙂 Happy Thursday!
Yesterday started out with eggs & toast with Marco. Of course.
After breakfast, I headed out to the Gym for a wee-little-bit of cardio and legs.
When I came home I had a Clif bar with coffee (soy milk, agave, cinnamon) before starting work for the day.
Around 1:00 I took a break for lunch and had a little bowl of leftover masala with harvest grains + a piece of avocado toast: chia, millet, and flax bread (TJ’s) toasted with a drizzle of olive oil, avocado, sea-salt, pepper, and red chili pepper flakes. Mmm-mmm good. Never fails.
For dinner we had homemade burgers: honey wheat buns (from Trader Joe’s), pepper jack cheese (half slice each), onion, tomato, avocado, romaine lettuce, + organic mayo & mustard. Instead of french fries, a few ridge cut potato chips on the side.
Marco was almost convinced that he should walk to The Habit and buy us french fries, but we managed 🙂 We live RIGHT down the street (two blocks) from Urbane Cafe (fav.), The Habit, and Chipotle. Plus, and endless amount of other great restaurants… but those are the Hubby’s cravings. We wanted to knock his craving out at home since we’re going out quite a bit from today through Sunday. Keeping balance in our house 😉
