Hello everyone! Happy Friday! I know I have been MIA, but there are a few reasons for that..
1) School has to be my first priority right now, and blogging during the week sometimes takes away from my studying
2) My small camera is broken, and I am taking it to be sent off, today (it’s hard to lug around my big camera sometimes)
3) Breaks are nice for any part of your life. I’ve learned that it’s okay to adjust your life to create your own balance 🙂
Now, for breakfast! Well, it’s cereal time again!
It’s been so hot lately, that all I have felt like in the morning is a nice COLD bowl of cereal. But, that’s okay! I love cereal!
Especially these Toasted Oatmeal Flakes from TJ’s. They NEVER get “soggy.” They’re as crispy and delicious as they come!
And, as always now, I had them with my FAVORITE Almond Milk from TJ’s (in the refrigerated section)
No matter what the heat… I never skill my favorite cup of coffee! Mmm!
And for that extra filling and nutrition, I try to always add some fruit to my cereal. Today, I added banana.
Now, just in case you’re all wondering! You’re all aware that I ended my “No Grains, No Sugar, No Cheese” diet this Sunday. I did it for a total of 38 DAYS, and felt great up until 4 weeks. The last couple weeks I started feeling really sick, and on DAY 38 I ate grains. Well, I would just like to report back to y’all.
I have still not added back sugar or cheese to my regular diet, but HAVE added back grains. I am feel 100% better than I was last Sunday. I was actually feeling 100% by Monday morning. I have so much more energy, I do not feel sick anymore, and I have really enjoyed having my grains back! I have been eating really healthy this week, and just keeping a balance on all my food groups.
