Chocolate Haul

Guess who went and bought 3 things of chocolate right after her workout (which was amazing by the way)?

Yep, I did! I went in the cupboard this morning when I was making my Oats, and was disappointed to see that somebody (I won’t say names…) ate all my white chocolate chips! 😉

Needless to say, I was the girl at Ralphs this morning in her workout clothes, buying only Chocolate. Haha!

I got white chocolate chips AND butterscotch morsels for my Oats! The butterscotch tasted really sweet when I tried one at home… I might not be able to hang! We will see…

Not to mention, driving home eating a piece! 88% Dark Chocolate by Endangered Species! Thank you Alyssa for recommending this! It’s so good!

When I came home, I made lunch. Oh yea, sooo good! It’s a rainy day here in Ventura, and soup and grilled cheese was the perfect lunch

I cooked my Grilled Cheese in Coconut Oil instead of butter, to add a little extra health to my life 😉 (Just like Fiona does)

  • In the pan- coconut oil
  • 2 pieces of slightly toasted ezekiel bread
  • about 1 tbsp. blue cheese dressing spread on one half of the inside
  • about 1 tbsp. salsa verde spread on the other
  • 1 melty piece of muenster cheese in between

I covered my Grilled Cheese with a lid, and cooked it on medium heat so that it wouldn’t burn, but would have enough heat to make the cheese super melty (you can also use a piece of foil like Kayla does 🙂

This is the Salsa Verde that I use 🙂

Melted to perfection!

On the side, broccoli and blue cheese. This blue cheese is homemade, and I can’t get enough. It’s my favorite blue cheese dressing!

Also, I had this bowl of soup (I ate just over half- it was a big bowl!)

In my soup

  • about 1 1/2 cup low sodium tomato bisque (in the box carton from TJ’s)
  • added sea-salt
  • ground pepper
  • about 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 2 tbsp. salsa verde
  • squeeze of fresh lemon

Such a good lunch! Now I am bloggin’ and am going to get ready for the day. I babysit from 1-4:30 and then 6-11 tonight. Woohoo! Lotsa work today. That’s a good thing- I am always thankful for babysitting jobs!

Hope you all have a Happy FRIDAY!!! See you back around dinner 🙂
