Chocolate Oatmeal

Good morning! Sleep well? Hope so! It’s getting warmer here in Southern California! Starting to feel like Spring, isn’t it?

This morning, I was making my usual Coffee with Vanilla Almond Milk & Agave, when I opened my fridge to the Dark Chocolate Almond milk that I picked up last night…

At first, it was too early for Chocolate, so I had my normal cup. About an hour later, when I went downstairs to eat, it sounded better, so I tried it. Needless to say, I loved it! Just Coffee with maybe 1/4 cup of this delicious Silk was perfect!

And… you all know what that lead to! Oatmeal with Chocolate Almond Milk!

  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/3 cup oats
  • 1/3 cup dark choc almond milk
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 tbsp. chia seeds

On top-

  • a small handful of walnuts
  • a sprinkle of granola
  • a few white chocolate chips

And on the side, my Mocha!

This time, I used Ghirardelli White Chocolate Chips instead of Nestle… and I am so sorry Nestle… but oh my goodness did Ghirardelli just majorly out-do you!

Lastly, I wanted to share something with you that I found last night… and was really pleasantly surprised by

About one month ago, I made a list of how I saw my life playing out in the next few years.

At the time of writing this, none of these things were actually “in process” of happening, but they were all in line with how I had hoped my life would go. After I wrote this list, I stuck it away in a box with other things that I love, care about, etc…

Well, I picked it up last night, and was absolutely amazed to see that every single thing that I wrote down had taken the next step into manifesting itself into reality. Each thing that I wrote down, is either close to happening, already happening, or has already fully happened.

This all reminded me of when I went back and read my journal from 2010-2011… It was full of prayers and thanks for things that I believed were going to happen, because I was passionate about them, and truly believed in them… It was also just full of gratitude toward life in general. I do believe it is the “happiest” journal I have ever kept… My life the last 3 years has had some of the hardest occurrences, but truly, truly, they have been the best 3 years of my life. I know this sounds like something everyone says… “these have been the best, hardest years of my life…” but there is so much truth in that… These have been the best years because deep down my heart is abounding with joy, rooted deep deep within me.

I had to share this with you all, because I am amazed at the power of hope & prayer… Even things that once seemed hard, or that I didn’t understand at all, have turned into huge blessings in my life… I am seriously just in awe right now…

If you’re curious about what I wrote on my list, I’d be happy to talk to you through a one on one email, but I’d rather keep it more personal between just a few people, rather than should it across my blog to thousands of people… Just wanted to share the blessing, and encourage you all to believe in your dreams, believe in yourself, believe in small steps, and know that you’re prayers are always, without a doubt heard.

Wishing you all a joy-filled Monday! Go do something you truly love. You deserve it!

Love, Paige
