Daily Eats + Coffee

Morning, beauties. It’s 5:00 AM here. I woke up at 4:10 AM this morning, thinking about my mom, and didn’t want to go back to bed. I felt awake (though tired) and wanted to get up, journal, and listen to music. So, that’s what I did.

Now I’m here blogging to all of you, realizing that I drank A LOT of coffee yesterday, and I didn’t even know it. Haha! Perhaps THAT is the reason I couldn’t sleep? 😉 You’ll see in this daily eats post.

A little update on mama: I shared on Wednesday that she’d had a rough morning. It only got worse later on. Mama lost a lot of strength in her body this week and has been in a lot of pain, though, now we’re managing it better (thank you Hospice). Things seem to have changed this week. 

We’re continuing to pray for comfort,  for God’s will, and for SUPREME peace – peace that surpasses all understanding – which I believe we have. I’m trusting God for all of these things, and  for wisdom. Mama Dot is so loved and valued. Thank you all for your prayers and support. 

Before we dive in to eats, I want to remind us that the purpose of sharing my eats with you is not for comparison, but rather, to be an example of what it can look like to eat intuitively, without dieting, AND to feel good in your body. To have total PEACE with food.

And to show you just how much coffee I can drink in a day 😜


Daily Eats and Coffee

The morning started off with a walk with my friend Asia. We walked to Starbs, and then around SLO for about 45 minutes. Such a great way to start the day – I’ve got such good girlfriends. So thankful for them.

When I got home, Asia and I visited a little longer, and then I grabbed a GoMacro bar, jumped in the office, and had a good long meeting with Simi. Which, really just turned into more of a conversation about life, because, that’s what friends are for. 

I relaxed, sipped coffee, and continued working away on my GoMacro bar. So tasty.

After my meeting long chat with Sim, I snuck off to get my hair done. Ah, the feeling of a fresh haircut and color. I went only slightly brighter, and chopped it to a long bob again. So happy with it! Thanks Lindsay Greene at Tigerlily – you’re the best, girl!

While I was getting my hair done, I relaxed, sipped coffee, and continued working away on my GoMacro bar (I swear I eat these bars for like 3 hours – I’m a nibbler when it comes to my GoMacro and coffee, but nothing else). So tasty.

Homemade fried rice and Chinese noodles. DELISH.

When I got home I heated up leftovers that my dad sent Marco and I home with – homemade fried rice and Chinese noodles. DELISH. We have a little bit left, so I’ll probably have more today!

After lunch, I ran a few personal errands like Trader Joe’s, filling up our drinking water, and maybe getting a tall Capp at Starbs. Like, Maybe. I really supported SLO’s coffee economy yesterday, and that I can feel good about.  

Coffee and biz time with Asia. Cheers to no coffee hangover.

I came home, met with a client (I changed up my scheduled, so this week was super light, and once I get home from vacation, I’ll be 100% booked) and met Asia for more coffee and biz time. I know, I know! But seriously, I felt great yesterday! No coffee hangover. Haha.

During biz time, I answered emails from my clients and sent out yesterdays VIP Q+A email. Did you see it? Yesterdays question was: How can I listen to my body more effortlessly? If you didn’t get it, make sure you’re signed up for coaching emails at the bottom of this post.

 Chicken tacos (I had two - so double this) for dinner and a glass of wine for girls night.

After coffee I hopped in the car and drove to my friend Bryanna’s house for girls night. Ah, it was so good to be with my girls. Bryanna’s boyfriend made us chicken tacos (I had two – so double this), I sipped on a glass of wine, and caught up with everyone. Love my girls.

On my drive home later that evening, I literally blasted my music and sang my heart out. And not multiple songs, just one that was really speaking to me! It was a worship song that a family member wrote and sang, and I’m just in love with it. It was basically therapy for my soul. You know!

The night ended on the phone with my family. Yesterday was full of phone calls, text messages, and lots of FaceTime with mama Dot and my cousins. This is an emotional time for all of us, and I’m so thankful that we’re able to lean on one another.

In OTHER news:

  • My one on one schedule is 100% booked until February 28th
  • That said, I don’t have room to take any new client consultations until the 28th or 29th this month (get info on booking a consultation HERE)

I’ll be away from the blog + email (most of the time) after this post until 2/15. Marco and I have a vacation planned for his birthday and Valentines, and we’re going to spend time with mama Dot (my mama) in Ventura. It’s the perfect time to get away with each other.
