Daily Eats, Matcha Latte’s at Home, the Cutest Pup

Hi there and happy Friday!

I’m here with more daily eats/life from this week.

Before we dive in, a reminder: I share my eats to be an example of what is possible for you in your relationship with food. To show you that you can experience calm and ease with food, too.

You can eat what you enjoy, listen to your body and let go of the need for rules around food (and still feel good in your body). As a result of feeling so calm with food you will be able to daily focus on the things that are most important to you.

Wednesday continued…

Tortilla soup (homemade by Brittany - so good!) and girl time. I sipped on herbal tea while we sat at the table and talked after dinner

Wednesday night I went to my friend Brittany’s house for tortilla soup (homemade by Brittany – so good!) and girl time. I sipped on herbal tea while we sat at the table and talked after dinner. Such a sweet time.

Thursday

Thursday morning started off with coffee (always decaf while I refer to coffee during pregnancy) in bed with Marco and Abby and then a to-go coffee and GoMacro bar on the way to the gym

Thursday morning started off with coffee (always decaf while I refer to coffee during pregnancy) in bed with Marco and Abby and then a to-go coffee and GoMacro bar on the way to the gym.

I’m a person who loves to drive with coffee. Anyone else? It makes me happy to have it in the car, even if I only take a few sips. Ha! I also love coming back out from my workout and getting to sip it on the way home.

I made two eggs with avocado slices on a slice of sourdough (and sipped the rest of my coffee). I ate slowly and read Jesus Calling with breakfast and journaled after.

For lunch, I made a panini with deli chicken, salami (both heated up on the panini press), provolone, blue cheese crumbles, mayo and mustard on Ezekiel. I wanted melty, cheesy, toasty goodness.

After breakfast I got to work (I had several early client sessions). For lunch, I made a panini with deli chicken, salami (both heated up on the panini press), provolone, blue cheese crumbles, mayo and mustard on Ezekiel. I wanted melty, cheesy, toasty goodness. This hit the spot!

I sipped a matcha latte after lunch as I got back to work

I sipped a matcha latte after lunch as I got back to work and had a Financial Coaching client session. This matcha is so good. First time I’ve had it. I ordered more on Amazon after having this one because yum!

I had this greek yogurt with honey and a banana, plus iced tea.

Mid-afternoon I got so sleepy. My eyes were just tired. I wasn’t super hungry, but wondered if I needed more protein. I had this greek yogurt with honey and a banana, plus iced tea. Did the trick!

When I ended work around 5:00 I wasn't quite hungry for dinner but an apple sounded good. I munched on this apple while catching up with my GF Kayla on the phone.

For dinner I had white basmati rice with chicken that I cooked all day in the CrockPot with masala simmer sauce (and some water). I shredded it up, paired it with rice and avocado and drizzled olive oil and sprinkled sea-salt over the top.

I shredded it up, paired it with rice and avocado and drizzled olive oil and sprinkled sea-salt over the top. Yum! The rice, avo and sea-salt was so good together that I got another small bowl of rice with avo, olive oil and sea-salt after this. What a GOOD combo!

After dinner I had one square of this dark chocolate.

After dinner I had one square of this dark chocolate. I do not recommend. I’ll get a new dark chocolate bar next time I’m out. The chocolate itself was good but the grain inside (which I thought would be crunchy and good) just made the chocolate taste like it had literal dirt in it. Not a fan.

We crawled into bed after that and I snapped a photo of this snuggle-bug because she is so sweet. I love her so much.

After dinner I relaxed on the couch for a bit, tried to watch a Christmas movie and just could not get into it (ha!) and so Abby and I went upstairs and I finished my vision board while sipping this cacao drink.

We crawled into bed after that and I snapped a photo of this snuggle-bug because she is so sweet. I love her so much. Look at those sweet eyes!

Friday

I made coffee with a half scoop of chocolate protein powder and stevia (yum!) and had two slices of Ezekiel with three eggs. Two over easy and chopped up and one over easy on a slice of toast.

This morning I woke up, snuggled Marco and Abber’s in bed and got up to a growling stomach. I was hungry. I made coffee with a half scoop of chocolate protein powder and stevia (yum!) and had two slices of Ezekiel with three eggs. Two over easy and chopped up and one over easy on a slice of toast. Exactly what I was craving (ha, specific!).

It’s now about 8:30 as I write this to you all. I’m going to do a bit more morning work and then take Abby for a walk before my afternoon clients start today.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend. If you’re in TGV we have a Coffee Connection Zoom hangout tomorrow morning (yay!). Otherwise, I’ll see you back here on Monday for more weekend eats :).
