Daily Eats: Monday Half Days at the Beach

Morning ladies… I’m here with the second part of this weeks daily eats. Monday! Monday was a good day because I worked until 2:00 and then took the rest of the day off to enjoy the beach with Marco. We went back to Morro Bay, as it was 20 degrees cooler. So nice!

Breakfast – The day started with the simple breakfast I’ve been loving lately. Bran flakes, granola, flaxseed meal, and almond milk. I’ve been wanting to throw fruit into the mix, so I picked some up yesterday evening to add in for the rest of the week.

After breakfast I worked for several hours, and then took a break to walk to the post office where I was surprised by this gift from our designers for Finally Free, Allie & Adam from The Wonder Jam – so sweet!

We also walked to the MOST adorable tea shop in SLO. In fact, I need to take a photo of this place and share it with you… Wait, let me see if I can find one on Yelp…

Secret Garden SLO - Tea Shop

Yay! Found a couple. These are from their Yelp page which you can see here. It’s super hidden back by the creek behind downtown. I was so excited when a friend introduced me to this spot.

Isn’t it the cutest? I got a new tea infuser, chamomile tea, and a medicinal sinus tea. Ah, I’ve been loving these teas! This shop is just one hidden wall of teas like you see. And they smell INSANE. You can even order them online here.

Lunch – When we came home from our walk and tea shopping we had lunch, which was leftover enchiladas again. Yum, can’t get over how good these were! See yesterday’s post for details 🙂

Pre-beach snack – I worked again from 12:00-2:00 and then ended work for the day. Marco and I took off for Morro Bay again to cool down, and before we left I made a small to-go snack as I was super hungry. Yogurt, a little honey, and a little golden girl granola. Yum! In a red solo cup 🙂

Morro Rock Cove Beach

We hung out at the beach for a couple of hours, looked at a truck (still on that trailer life dream!), and then came home for dinner.

Dinner – Leftovers again, from the night before. Gnocchi & caesar salad. Again, see yesterdays post for more deets on this meal. Super simple!

After dinner, we walked around town for almost an hour just talking. This was my favorite time of this week because M really encouraged me as we were talking this night. Meant so much to me… Whoever it is, it’s so good to have people in your life who believe in you.

To end the night we landed ourselves at Que Pasa, a Mexican restaurant for football & a beer, and shared chips & salsa. Such a fun evening together. Thankful for it!

Alighty, y’all. Thanks for being with me. I love hanging out with you guys in daily eats posts. It’s fun to reminisce through my days as I write these out.
