DAY 35: A few grain/sugar/cheese FREE ideas

Here are a few things that I have enjoyed the past few days. They’re so simple, and so yummy! I guess you could go ahead and call them some of my Fall cravings. My taste buds change by season 😉

1) Non-fat, plain, Greek Yogurt w/ honey & sliced apple

I like to put the honey and yogurt together first and let them sit for a while in the fridge. The yogurt picks up so much sweetness from the honey

I love the crispiness of the apples with the silkiness of the yogurt, too.

Dip them just like this. You’ll be in heaven!

2) Organic Peanut Butter & Banana

The past few days I have been CRAVING Peanut Butter.. I don’t know what it is… oh wait, yes I do 😉 GIRLS?

My favorite way to eat this is to take a little bite of banana, and then lick some of the PB off my spoon. Classy, I know- but it just tastes perfect!

3) Non-fat, plain, Greek Yogurt w/ 100% pure pumpkin, & pumkin pie spice mixed in, topped with Quinoa mixed with nut butter- I used Sunflower Seed Butter for this one!

Yum! If you like pumpkin- you’ll love this one! It would be so good with like Brown Sugar if you’re eating a little bit of sugar (moderation is key).

For the yogurt:

1/2 cup non-fat, plain greek yogurt

1 small teaspoon full of 100% pure canned pumpkin

A few shakes of pumpkin pie spice

For the topping:

1/2 cup quinoa

1 small teaspoon of sunflower seed butter mixed with the quinoa (or your favorite nut butter)

I even had coffee w/ pumkin pie spice!

This was actually my breakfast this morning. Perfect for a rainy day! Mmm… I have more Quinoa on the stove for later… YUM!
