Day in the ER
Good morning everyone!
Yesterday was a really busy day.
On my way to coffee with Mom and Marco’s Grandma, I got a call from a friend who needed to go to the ER.
So, we turned the car around, cancelled our coffee and afternoon plans, and took her right over. We ended up being in the ER waiting room from 11:30-3:30, and then in the room until 4:30 when another friend of ours could be there. I was really glad to be able to help her, and she’s doing much better today.
Breakfast
Before I ever left the house I had Ezekiel toast with peanut butter and banana
I had to share this! How adorable is this?! It came in a new Client “Getting Started” package of mine. So thoughtful! Ah, I have the best Clients 🙂
Snack
In the ER waiting room, a Blueberry Muffin Larabar.
Lunch
For lunch we went to the Sandwich Company in Ventura, right next to the hospital. I had never been, and boy, was it good! I got the “Italian Chicken” and split it with my Mom (this only shows half of mine). It had chicken, lettuce, bell pepper, olives and mozzarella cheese. So good!
Dinner
Dinner was okay… I made sautéed spinach with olive oil and garlic, and that was great! You see that under the pasta. But, we got cheese filled tortellinis this time and weren’t too crazy over them. Next time, I’ll stick to pesto (we did put pesto on the outside, too).
A little dark since I took this photo against the light. But look how cute Tyeson is. We brought him home with us from the Hospital until his Mom was able to get out since our other friend was able to stay. I made him a turkey sandwich “with everything on it” per his request. He says I make him good sandwiches! Yay! I don’t mind that at all 🙂
Alrighty everyone. I hope you all have a good day! I’ll be back tomorrow with a fun new food idea from TJ’s along with your favorite, Daily Eats!
Oh, and there was (maybe still is) an error with my Blog yesterday so I had to re-post my last two posts (comments got deleted). Sorry! The error is being fixed.
Love, Paige
