Day with My Client

Good afternoon everyone! You know what’s funny? I typed out Good afternoon “tumblies” at first… who’s been with me since tumblr? I used to always call my readers tumblies… ha, I guess old habits die hard!

Tuesday

5:45 walk with Aubrey for 1 hour

Eggs and Toast

7:00 breakfast with Marco! Eggs & toast. Chocolate milk for him 😉

Urbane Cafe for lunch and both got the Urbane Cafe Salads. I had about half of my bread, and all of my salad.

1:30 lunch with one of my incredible Clients Natasha. I have permission to share her name 🙂

She drove down from LA to see me while she was visiting her parents. Usually, we have phone Sessions, but when we get the chance, we will meet in person. We met once in SF, and now once here.

We went to Urbane Cafe for lunch and both got the Urbane Cafe Salads. I had about half of my bread, and all of my salad.

I shared with her that working at Urbane was my first job ever!

Coconut Date Rolls

After Urbane, we went to Lassen’s. I wanted to show her Venturas cute little Whole Foods store. She bought Coconut Date Rolls while we were there, and I got to try one. Yum! So good, and so satisfying.

Paige and Natasha

After Lassen’s, we went downtown Ventura and got Chai Tea Latte’s at Palermo. She’s seen Palermo on HHTS before, and wanted to give it a try.

It’s such an adorable Coffee Shop! Here we are! Blurry picture, but also, my favorite of us 🙂

Half chai tea with half steamed soy + honey

Most often, I will get half chai tea with half steamed soy + honey, but yesterday I just wanted to treat myself to the full, creamy latte – I do this sometimes. It was so good! Natasha said it was the best she’s ever had because it wasn’t too sweet 🙂

Black Eyed Pea Soup and Greens

Around 8, Marco and I had soups for dinner. My Dad made Black Eyed Pea soup, and I had cooked greens. Both were great, but I was really craving my greens. I had the greens for dinner, and tried the black eyed pea soup to satisfy my craving. It was perfect 🙂

"Dottie Smoothie." This means a non-green smoothie with tons of fruit, yogurt, and milk

For dessert, Marco asked me to make a “Dottie Smoothie.” This means a non-green smoothie with tons of fruit, yogurt, and milk. I made some for him, and decided to have some myself – thankfully, no belly ache with the real milk! That one is iffy for me…

I hope you all have a wonderful evening! I am off to meet with my last Client today, and then headed to show our apartment.

Hopefully I’ll have to chance to get here in the morning and blog! Tomorrow is the start of 4 days off.

Can I start being Thankful today? I’m thankful for rest this coming weekend! 🙂
