Easy Thinking: For the Woman Who Is Tired of Making Everything So Hard

Hi, I’m Paige, and I help women think easier and live brighter.

A few days ago, a woman emailed me and said something I’ve heard so many times before. I could literally search my email inbox and find 100 other emails that sound just like this.

“I’m stuck in analysis paralysis.”

Not lazy.
Not unmotivated.
Not incapable.

She is exhausted from thinking.

Overthinking.
Re-thinking.
Researching.
Stacking information.
Starting. Stopping.
Waiting for the right plan.
The right timing.
The right confirmation.

And all the while… wanting results.

Maybe that’s you. (I used to be here; this used to be me.)

You want to feel better in your body.
You want to be more consistent.
You want to follow through.
You want to show up calmer in your marriage.
More joyful in motherhood.
More grounded in your faith.
More organized.
More energized.

You want to walk the talk.

But instead, your brain is LOUD. And frustrating. Keeping you up at night. Spinning.

Constant chatter.
Constant evaluation.
Constant “maybe this instead.”

You are making it harder than it needs to be.

I say that with love—because I’ve done it too.

The Habit of Hard

Some women have a habit of quitting.

Some women have a habit of numbing.

Some women have a habit of avoiding.

And some women—high-capacity, thoughtful, capable, and creative ones—have a habit of making everything harder than it needs to be.

They stack information.
They listen to every podcast.
They read every book.
They research every option.

They are looking for the magic right answer.

It’s as if they are afraid to put in effort unless they’re sure it will be the “right” effort and pay off, so they just keep digging. But the digging only gets them more stuck.

But here’s the truth about the magic answer:

There isn’t one. I myself have been stuck in patterns of believing there was a magic answer, too. Those seasons are the ones I remember as feeling the heaviest in life. I don’t recall those times as producing results, but rather leading to overthinking.

There is only the decision to move.

Clarity doesn’t come before movement.
Clarity comes from movement.

If you’ve been praying for clarity, this may be for you.

Momentum starts the moment you decide.

What “Easy Thinking” Actually Means

When I teach “easy thinking,” I’m not teaching delusion. I’m not teaching denial. I’m not teaching pretending something is simple when it isn’t.

I’m teaching this:

What if the way forward is not more pressure… but less?

What if consistency doesn’t come from getting everything perfect but from calming the mental chaos?

What if the reason you start and stop isn’t that you don’t want it badly enough, but because you’re mentally exhausting yourself?

Easy thinking sounds like:

  • “This can be simple.”
  • “I don’t need the perfect plan to begin.”
  • “Momentum is everything.”
  • “I can adjust as I go.”
  • “I’m allowed to move before I feel 100% certain.”

It quiets the noise.

It eliminates the endless inner debate.

It makes forward motion feel light instead of heavy.

And when things feel lighter… You keep going. Results begin to show. You feel proud. Relieved. It feels GOOD to create the results you want in life!

The Woman This Is For

This is for the woman who:

Is tired of the constant mind chatter.
Is tired of information stacking.
Is tired of starting over.
Is tired of living in low-level chaos.

She doesn’t want another program to collect and finish half-heartedly (or only half-finish).

She wants results.

She wants consistency.

She wants to feel energized instead of drained. Examples of what she might want…

She wants to lose weight without obsessing.
She wants a peaceful relationship with food.
She wants to get organized and stay that way.
She wants to show up happier in her marriage.
She wants to enjoy her kids instead of snapping at them.
She wants to live her faith instead of overthinking it.

She wants to enjoy her life while moving toward her goals.

She wants it to feel easier.

And not because life is magically easy—but because her thinking is no longer working against her.

What We Would Actually Do

For three bi-weekly sessions (about six weeks), we would:

Identify where you are making things harder than they need to be.
Strip away the excess.
Choose a direction.
Build momentum.
Create consistency.

You would stop circling.

You would start moving.

We would quiet the noise instead of feeding it.

This is not about becoming a different person.

It’s about becoming a decisive one.

It’s about learning to think in a way that produces peace instead of pressure.

And here’s something important:

You don’t need more information.

You need implementation.

You don’t need another perfect plan.

You need to stop negotiating with yourself.

Starting Now.

This is not for someone who wants to think about coaching for six more weeks; this is for someone who wants to laser-focus for six weeks. Three sessions. Bi-weekly. With me. Voxer support in between. Move forward.

This is for the woman who is ready to say,
“I’m done circling. I’m ready to live in forward momentum and to let it be EASIER.”

If that’s you, email me paige@paigeschmidt.com.

Not with a perfect explanation.
Not with a polished pitch.

Just something simple.

“I’m ready.”

And if you’re not? That’s okay too.

But please hear me when I say this:

The relief you’re looking for is not in the next piece of information.

It’s in the decision to move forward.

You don’t need harder thinking.

You need easier thinking.

And you need to live like you believe that.

I’ve lived this myself, and I promise you, making your thinking easier is what will move you forward in the direction you want to go.

My most recent podcast episode on this (I have four, email me paige@paigeschmidt.com if you want links to all) is right here.

I shared this on Instagram in 2022, the year Easy Thinking began to change everything for me. Four years later, I’m still living in the peace, freedom, and momentum this brought.

The Theology of Easy Thinking

Before anyone misunderstands, “easy thinking” isn’t about positive vibes. It’s not denial. It’s not pretending life is simple when it’s not.

Jesus said, “My yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:30)

Life itself is not always light. But walking with Him is lighter than striving alone. When my thinking becomes frantic, pressured, perfectionistic, or fear-based, I am usually carrying things alone; a way He never asked me to carry anything.

Easy thinking is letting it go and laying that down. Doing it differently.

Scripture tells us we are transformed by the renewal of our minds (Romans 12:2). That means change doesn’t start with doing more. It starts with thinking differently.

It means instead of:
“What’s the perfect plan?”
“What if I mess this up?”
“What if there’s a better way?”

We learn to think:
“I can take the next step.”
“God will guide me as I move.”
“Faithfulness matters more than perfection.”

Isaiah says, “You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You.” (Isaiah 26:3)

Peace is connected to where the mind rests.

Think easier, and rest your mind on the Lord as you move forward.

Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. (James 2:17)

Easy thinking is choosing to rest the mind on truth instead of fear. On direction and obedience (saying YES to God’s best!) instead of over-analysis.

It’s the difference between striving and abiding.

And when a woman learns to think this way, everything changes—not because her life suddenly becomes easier, but because her mind is no longer fighting against her.

Coaching that leaves you feeling LIGHTER.

A Thought to End With…

If you’re not willing to think easier about what you want, you don’t really want it—you just want the idea of it. In that case, let it go. It’s robbing your mental space.

“I love that I get to work on myself and not feel guilty. I look forward to my biweekly sessions with Paige. She is a fantastic listener, communicator, and encourager! When I feel anxious and overwhelmed, she is great at helping me come up with simple, actionable steps to focus on, which help me keep moving forward. Working with her has helped improve my thoughts and my productivity. Being able to process my thoughts over Voxer has been very helpful as well. I am so grateful!” – Brooke, Private Coaching Client
