Good morning ladies!
Ever feel like your day will be messed up if you eat breakfast too early, or lunch too late?
Do you feel like it will “throw off your whole day?”
Trust that your body will figure itself out on these days, and that it won’t ruin your day. Just go with it. Here’s an example from yesterday.
Breakfast was my normal time. I usually eat with Marco during the week.
I had two multi-grain waffles with plain greek yogurt, chia seeds, and a peach + a coffee with almond milk & agave. Again, inspired by Cait’s Plate.
Mmm… break time… I’m gonna go grab my coffee before I finish this post…
Okay, I’m back 😀
When I got home from Step, I was ready for lunch, and I knew exactly what I wanted.
I didn’t tell myself “no, it’s too early, have something that you don’t want first, and wait until noon.”
So, I made exactly what I wanted: half a turkey sandwich with some super crunchy chips.
Around 12:30 I grabbed a banana before I ran out to run errands for work.
At 3:30 I was hungry. So, I made something else that I was craving. I knew it might fill me up through dinner, but I was okay with that.
I made a scramble with 3 eggs, chicken, broccoli, and sprinkled it with mozzarella cheese. I was trying to recreate the one I ordered out this day (scroll all the way to the end).
My 3:30 Meal did in fact keep me pretty full. When I got off at 7:00 I decided I’d just heat Marco’s dinner for him and save mine for lunch the next day (today).
I decided to make myself some homemade popcorn while watching Weed’s. I ate about 1/3 and decided a smoothie sounded better.
So, I got up and made “Paige’s Favorite Green Smoothie.” This was perfect and exactly what I wanted. I think I was craving one late since I hadn’t had one earlier in the day.
See, it all turns out fine.
Yea, your eating is a little off and most days it’s nice to have more “normal eating” that matches with your family, but when you don’t, and you need to eat earlier it’s okay.
Trust that your body will work itself out.
