Hello everyone! Hope you’re all having a great day! So, I have something new to tell you all!
Remember when I told you that I would go gluten-free if Larry (my Naturopath) told me that I needed to? Well, I went and saw him today, and he tested me for a gluten-intolerance.
When he tested the wheat on me, it literally sent pain down the center of my stomach, and my body got weak. The first thing he said was “yep, no more gluten for you!”
So, as of today, I am going gluten-free. I am saying this with a little bit of anxiety behind my words, because I know it’s going to be hard, and I know I may mess up. But my goal, is to be gluten-free, and if I mess up, pick myself back up!
I have a lot of trust for my Naturopath, because he has tremendously helped so many people I know, and has totally influenced my new (as of this year) healthy lifestyle. In fact, if it weren’t for him, I wouldn’t even have this blog; I am extremely grateful for him!
So, instead of “starting tomorrow” (the habit that we decided to kick a couple weeks ago, remember?) I started today! I made a gluten free lunch! My cousin made me fresh blackberry jam from Humboldt for my birthday, so I decided to have breakfast for lunch!
I had two eggs, and one piece of gluten-free brown rice toast with blackberry jam! The jam was amazing! So good that I made another treat with it that I will post in just a little while. Stay tuned 🙂
