Good Salad Dressing!
September 27, 2012
Good morning everyone! I am surprised and please to announce that I feel better! That was a quick one! I recover so much more quickly than I used to. I guess being healthy really does pay off 🙂
For breakfast: yogurt, cocoa (it’s raw and has 0g sugar), flaxseed, pepita seeds, 1/2 banana, raisins + honey
I wanted to load in the healthy calories this morning to make my body feel strong and energized. Yesterday was full of weak and brittle. <— No fun!
+ How did I get well so fast?
By having a balanced healthy diet most of the time
Resting all day
Drinking water + emergen-C
Eating fruits (oranges!), veggies, soups, smoothies, etc..
Not drinking any coffee while sick, only herbal tea
Sleeping really good last night (I took a sleep aid to knock me out because I slept awful the night before!
Being surrounded with love from my Dad and Marco being so helpful and nice all day 🙂
My nephew, niece, and son make me pretty happy too 😉
^^ haha! ^^
“Don’t make fun of me!”
Lunch: Holy cow! Lunch was so good! I know it look so simple, but the dressing…. Oh my!
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. squeezed lemon juice
shake of sea salt
Sooooo good! This tastes like an asian dressing that I am obsessed with from most sushi places (if you don’t like those, this might now be for you). I got the idea from my brothers girlfriend, Haley. She’s such a creative chef! Mmm!
Other than the dressing this was just butter lettuce, romaine lettuce, mushrooms, tomatoes, and onions with pepper. My Dad threw it together and while they were using Bleu Cheese (and I was so jealous at first) I threw together my own dressing and liked it even more!
After my Salad I wanted just a bite of a PB Larabar, because the flavor sounded like a treat 🙂
I’m taking the leftover (shown above) with me babysitting today for a snack.
