Happy 4th of July!

Good morning all!

Yesterday started off with an un-pictured breakfast & walk with my friend Aubrey. We split a spinach and feta wrap from Starbucks and sipped on soy lattes.

After breakfast came my dreaded appointment, which actually turned out quite nicely. My Doctor spent an entire hour with me. She just sat in the room with me talking, just like a Health Coach (not discounting Docs, HC’s just intentionally spend a long time talking through things with you) would. I couldn’t believe it. I was so impressed by her. I felt so cared for.

I did end up getting a really low dose B-Control. By the looks of it, now mother nature won’t visit on my Wedding Day. I’m happy about that! Because I was definitely scheduled too start two days before beforehand. I’ll let you all know very honestly how my experience with B-Con goes.

artichoke and pesto

After the Doc, I had these two pieces of toasted sourdough heels with homemade pesto and artichoke hearts. Yum! So simple! I also snacked on a leftover turkey patty as I was making this. Needed some protein and had to get straight to work.

banana

Right after my 10:30 Client I snacked on this banana.

healthy hits the spot green smoothie

Around 2:00 I made a Green Smoothie.

nectarine

I cooked dinner early during the afternoon when I had a break, cleaned and vacuumed my whole little house (mansion compared to the last place) and snacked on this nectarine and some carrots and hummus. Dinner wasn’t going to be until 7:00.

By the way, if you want to see some additional house photos today (took them this morning) get on my Newsletter list now. The email is coming out at 3:00 PDT full of photos!

quinoa and chicken bowl

Dinner was so yummy. I swear, this is one of my absolute favorite combos. Quinoa, baked chicken lightly sautéed in olive oil, garlic, s+p, with steamed broccoli (also has EVOO and s+p), avocado, and tamari (or soy sauce, or Bragg’s Liquid Amino’s). Pile all together in a bowl and you’ve got yourself a nice, filling dinner.

This was 1//2 cup cooked quinoa, 1 chicken breast, lots of broccoli, and half of a small avo in each. Plus Tamari to your liking.

dark chocolate

Dessert, one two pieces of dark dark dark chocolate. Oh god. B-Con cravings are already starting… I couldn’t just stop at one!

Hahaha. I’m totally kidding… But seriously you guys, you can’t even believe the amount that I used to eat when I was on it at 13. I discussed with my friend Simi yesterday that it was likely because I was 13, and not the B-Con. Being a growing, hormonal girl is no friggin’ joke. Just ask my Mom 😉 She got the best of it.

Don’t forget, head on over to the Newsletter now and put your name and email down. I’ll be sure to send you an email of all the home photos today. It’s like you’re coming inside our little home on the 4th of July. Celebrate with us!

By the way, ENJOY YOUR 4TH OF JULY! 🙂
