Happy Spring Break!

This morning I woke up to my quiet time with Aubrey, and Overnight Oats to follow.

If you do not yet know what Overnight Oats are, they are a must try. Aubrey & Tye ask me to make them everynight now. They are addicted!

Before you go to bed, mix the following list of ingredients in a bowl, and cover. Refrigerate while you sleep, and enjoy in the morning. Yes, they are cold Oats. They are so good, and so refreshing!

  • 1/3 cup Oats
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
  • 1 tbsp. Chia Seeds
  • 1/2 Banana
  • 1-3 shakes Cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 tbsp. PB (optional)
  • 1 tbsp. Shredded Coconut (optional)
  • 1 tbsp. Raisins (optional)

The bolded ingredients are my basis for the Oats. The optional ones are highly recommended for a good bowl, but don’t have to be added. Feel free to switch up the ingredients and mess around! For example, if you want Dark Chocolate Almond Milk for Chocolate Oats, go ahead!

And me getting things done around the house. Organizing. Laundry. Dishes. Grocery List. The thrills of living on your own. Funny thing- these things really do thrill me, haha!

A little after breakfast I still felt hungry, so I had an English Muffin with Peanut Butter

Now, back to the laundry and then off to work! I have my bathing suit on and am definitely planning on laying out while I nanny. I can do this- it’s SPRING BREAK! 😉
