If you have to cry, go outside
Good morning everyone! Just wanted to do a quick post before I go meet my friend for Coffee!
This morning has been great! I woke up at 7:30, read until about 8, got dressed for the gym, and then went to a Body Works class at 8:30. This class kicked my butt! I feel like I am not going to be able to walk tomorrow. Thank you, Squats!
Anyways, after I came home, my Mom made me eggs and toast. I had one egg, two whites, and one piece of ezekiel toast with smart balance butter and homemade jam. So good! Thank you Mama 🙂
Now, I am off to Coffee Bean to meet with a girl who I was in Nursing (pre-q) Classes with. I am excited to share with her, where my heart is with school, how it’s helped me to just trust myself, and all that good stuff! I am also going to share this fun book with her, that motivated me to do what I want in life.
I’m not going to follow what everyone else thinks I should do (grow up, get a degree, have a great career, get married, have 2.5 kids, a great house, and save all my money for retirement). Yea, not so much for me… I have just a little bit MORE that I’d like to reach for, and this book let me know that that’s OKAY. In fact, that’s GREAT!
FYI, if you’re interested in working in the fashion industry- this book is a great book to read! I am not so much into doing fashion (at least not for now), but this book still motivated me, and made me believe in myself. It’s a really fun read, very straightforward, and made me laugh quite a bit. Kelly Cutrone is definitely RIGHT to the point.
