Lazy Daizy
March 30, 2012
Good evening everyone! Finally feeling a little bit more “me” today 🙂
My new home is really starting to feel like home now. It’s not that I was sad or unhappy- just adjusting to calling a new place home. I am starting to feel well adjusted 🙂
This was taken last night, but Daiz is in the exact same position right now. This is her “spot.” Cute, right?
What a lazy little bum 😉
This morning I woke up with Aubs and had quiet time from about 6:15-7:15…. it’s so awesome waking up and spending that time together. Right now we are reading through the new testament, and learning soo much. I think this is the first history that I’ve actually been interested in 😉
After quiet time, I made myself a bowl of Oats! It’s actually been a while since I’ve had a hot bowl of Oats!
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/8 cup almond milk (for creaminess)
- 1/2 banana
- 1 tbsp. chia seeds
- 1 tbsp. white chocolate chips
- > 1 tbsp. sunflower butter
I don’t ever actually measure these things out for my Oats, so they are a rough estimate.
After breakfast, I went to the gym for my Friday morning Step II class! I love it! Kicked my booty!
After the gym, I came home and showered and then made lunch. I had two pieces of toasted ezekiel bread with pesto and artichoke hearts on top. On the side, I had a salad with arugula, olive oil, balsamic, and a touch of sea salt.
After lunch (I have a lot of “afters” in this post!!) Aubs and I went and got spray tanned. I was so nervous! It wasn’t a big deal, but I was scared I was going to be orange, that the machine was going to miss a spot, or that I was going to mess up! It turned out just fine, and I just look more bronzed. I was extremely white. I did it for the Wedding I am going to tomorrow- the only problem is now I was to really tan!
For (pre)dinner today I had brown rice medley with veggies and tofu.
I saw “pre-dinner” because it was only 3:30/4 when I ate this and I’ll for sure be hungry again later!
For dessert, hehe, I had the last chocolate ball that I’ve had since Christmas! A pack of 16… I say that’s pretty darn good!!! I even shared quite a few!
A little while later I wanted another small snack, so I munched on these sesame almonds. They are so yummy! I measured out 1/4 a cup. That’s really been helping me lately to know that I’m getting a healthy serving with nuts/trail mixes 🙂
Anyway, I actually got ready today, so I think I am going to go visit some family, or shop around 🙂
Hope you all have a wonderful night! See you here after dinner!
