Lookin’ for Juice Plus

Good evening everyone! Sorry it took so long for me to post today, I was being cozy and lazy with Marco. In fact, I haven’t gotten out of my PJ’s all day! And now I’m babysitting. Yes, in the same sweats I slept in 🙂 It was a cozy PINK day for sure

Breakfast Yesterday

Overnight Oats with a few Gluten Free Peanut Butter Puffs on top “Gorilla Munch.” Marco told me not to kid myself. He says “that’s Captain Crunch!” Haha!

Smoothie

The house I was babysitting at had a VitaMix, and Juice Plus Chocolate Mix… so I had to try and make a smoothie! I’ve always wanted to try both!

-1/2 cup Green Plant Juice (TJ’s)

-1/2 cup Rice Milk

-1 small banana

-1 tbsp. Goji Berries

-1 scoop Dutch Chocolate Juice Plus

Soooooo good! The Goji Berries gave it the perfect touch of sweetness! Mmm!

Now I am interested in Juice Plus. Trying to find someone who sells it in Ventura, Ca 🙂

Anyone use Juice Plus?

Lunch

For lunch I packed a little turkey sandwich + lentils and bruschetta (Both from Trader Joes, I mix them together and eat them cold)

IMG_2411.JPG

My sandwich had 2 slices of turkey, 2 small slices of cheese, spinach, 1 tsp. of mayo, 1 tsp. of mustard on a whole wheat english muffin… Mmm! I put it under the broiler to get the cheese all nice and melty before I ate it! Oh, and before I packed it I toasted the bread a bit

At my next babysitting job, I got a Birthday Present! A great one! Chocolate Trek Mix from Trader Joes 🙂 Plus some super cute cards from G! She made them at school, and at home.. so cute that she would think of me like that 🙂 We snacked on these while we watched Chip Wrecked (Alvin and the Chipmunks..) Such a cute movie!

Dinner

For dinner I had a Vega shake and a salad

Shake: 1 packet of Vega Chocolate (the Juice Plus was much better), 1/2 cup of berries, 1 small banana, 1/2 cup organic apple juice, 1/2 cup organic 1% milk, 1 tbsp. ground flaxseed

Salad: spinach leaves, 2 slices of turkey all cut up, carrots, cucumber, bell pepper, and homemade blue cheese dressing.

Mmm! Such a filling, nutritious, satisfying dinner! I had the shake and the salad hours apart, but I couldn’t decide what else I wanted other than the shake so I waited until I decided I was craving salad. It was a good one too!

Looks like the cat was craving carrots too! Caught you Ponyo!
