Okay, so for the rest of my day- it was just so special! I came home from babysitting and Marco met me at my house so I could tell him everything my Mom and I had talked about during shopping. I had the BEST talk with my Mom about school, and she was SO helpful and soo encouraging. She helped me figure out what the best path would be for me this next year, and I’m pretty sure we nailed it (that’s for another post)!

After talking Marco’s brains off (and him being super happy for me- he always is!), I made my parents and I lunch (Marco had already eaten- I’m not that mean, haha). I made homemade Subway! Haha, I told you guys I NEVER get sick of it! Yesterday, my Dad went to Sam’s club and he bought a bunch of whole wheat bread for subs!

Here’s a whole one that I made. We each had a 6-inch.

I put a little bit of mayo, mustard, horseradish sauce (we love spicy!), turkey, jalapeno jack cheese, green pepper, pepperoncini, cucumber, tomato, lettuce, and S&P! Oh, and just a tiny bit of this AMAZING sauce from a place in Ventura called Snapper Jacks. It’s their secret sauce, and we had a little container so I put some of that on mine too! Soo good!

It was SO good! I love making these at home because everything is FRESH, and the bread tasted like it just came out of the oven! Mmm mmm!

Lunch was at about 3pm. Since we had such a late lunch we skipped dinner because none of us were hungry, and we were crazy busy cleaning! As you guys know, I love cleaning! Weird, I know!

My sweet Dad has been working on our kitchen everyday for the past 2 weeks or so. Today he did his last of the touch ups, and everything is now complete except for the lights, but it was all ready to be cleaned, and I can now USE IT AGAIN! Wooohoo! Since he did all the work, my Mom & I did all the cleaning. We cleaned the house from 4pm-9pm! Five hours of cleaning! We turned up the music and got to work. It’s sooo nice to walk around the house now because everything is SPARKLING!

While I was cleaning today, it really hit me just how insanely blessed I am to have such wonderful parents, that have always provided for me, always support me, and love me with everything they have. I am so grateful, and just the simplest time spent with them today was so special to me. I love what a TEAM we are! That’s the only way to be. SO,PARENTS, thank you SO much for everything you guys do for me; it does not go un-noticed! I love you both so much 🙂
