Q: Where did you go to school?
I went to The Institute for Integrative Nutrition to train for Certified Holistic Health Coaching. With this Certification I work with women who want to heal their relationship to food and their bodies.
I also did studied with HCI back when it was called “HolisticMBA” – before they became a certifiable school. I am pretty familiar with their curriculum as well.

Q: How much time do you spend preparing your food?
I really like to keep things simple in the kitchen. I usually don’t spend more than 15 minutes throwing something together. Sometimes 30-45… sometimes!
Q: Is your food cold by the time you eat?
Nope! I only take a couple of pictures and then sit down to eat. It usually takes me 30 seconds to snap a photo.
Q: What is your favorite flavor LARABAR?
Hands down Lemon Bar or Coconut Cream Pie. Peanut Butter Cookie, too! But, I’m a little weary of Larabars now ever since I realized they were making me bloated.
Q: How do you handle cravings while you have PMS?
I give into my sugar cravings in a way that feels calm and balanced. When you have permission to eat your favorite foods, you no longer want to eat everything in one sitting.
Q: How do you keep track of your daily eats?
I simply take photos on my camera and sometimes even upload them to the blog later that week (I share a lot of what I eat in my Instagram stories – @paigeschmidt)! It’s kinda fun to go back over my day and reflect on the yumminess I got to enjoy the day before.
Q: How old are the women you work with?
I generally work with women between the ages of 20-35, but if you want to have a healthier relationship to food and your body and you’re outside of this age range, by no means should you let that stop you. I work with 18 year olds, 60 year olds, you name it.

Q: I want to start a blog, where do I begin?
I like to encourage people to start on tumblr like I did, or SquareSpace. Both sites are super easy! It’s the most simple way to get your feet in the water and decide what you’d like to blog about.
Q: How much time do you put into blogging with each post?
Each blog post takes me about an hour to an hour and a half. I also send emails each week (sign-up to hear from me at the bottom of this page), and host a weekly podcast episode!
Q: What kind of camera do you use?
I have a Canon Rebel T6i and I love it! I use a 50mm lens for food photography. My iPhone also does the job anytime I’m out of the house!
Q: Who took the photos professional photos of you on your blog?
Probably Asia, Allie, or Amanda! All three are dear friends and I love them! If you want to know who took a specific photo of me, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and ask. I’d be MORE than happy to share and direct you toward the right person.
