Reduce for More EASE

One of the most important things we can do in life is to focus on what brings us value and pleasure. This can be a difficult task, as many of us are constantly bombarded with distractions and obligations that can pull us away from what truly matters. However, if we take the time to evaluate our priorities and reduce the clutter in our lives, we can create more space for the things that bring us joy. By making conscious choices on what to reduce and expand in our lives, we can create a more fulfilling and enjoyable experience of LIVING (pretty important).

Did you know that you have the power to create an enjoyable experience in goal achieving? It’s true, YOU get to design what the experience is like for you. And it’s crucial that you choose joyful and sustainable habits to get you to your goals, otherwise once the goal is met, you won’t be able to maintain the goal since you hated the road to said goal.

Why do you want a certain goal?

Do you think meeting that goal will help you feel a certain way? Feel successful? Productive? Motivated? Attractive?

I find we as humans attach stories to our goals, telling ourselves we will feel xy and z once we are living in our goals.

One way to make the path to your goals more joy filled is to embrace reduction. This allows us to simplify the route to our goals and still be present with loved ones.

What area do you crave reduction in? Or perhaps an easier question to ask yourselves first is, what areas do you want to expand in, to spend more time in your life doing?

Remind yourself that reduction in other areas will allow you to have more time for these other areas to expand, even as you simultaneously work towards your health, career, or relationship goals!
