St. Patrick’s Day in Ventura

Good-morning all 🙂

This weekend, Marco and I drove to Ventura to be with the family. It was a really quick trip! We got here Sunday night and are leaving this afternoon to go back to SLO.

Sunday was full of Church, walking around Ventura, inviting women to join us this Wednesday for Finally Free, grabbing green juice at Whole Foods (it was so hot here!), looking at trailers (one day!), and celebrating St. Patricks Day & a Birthday with the family at night.

Marco and Paige

The party was a two-part celebration. Half St. Patrick’s Day and half Marco’s little cousins Birthday. It was so fun, and the food was AH-MAZING. We had really, really good corned beef (with mustard and horseradish sauce), cabbage, mashed taters, home-made Irish Soda Bread, and caramelized apples & onions. Oh, and Irish Coffee’s to end the night. Marco’s Grandpa is a Chef like my Daddy!

Moving has SO made me appreciate family & the time that I get to spend with them. Ah, and same with my little guy Noah (my dog)! I am missing him like crazy! <– We’d bring him with us, but 1) my Dad would be lost without his best little buddy, and 2) we can’t have pets in our home in SLO. So, for now, it’s just getting as much cuddle time with him as possible whenever I visit home!

A few things:

  1. Simi featured 10 inspiring #GIRLBOSS bloggers, who inspire her with their drive, voice, attitude, & healthy habits. I’m honored to be one! Check it out here.
  2. Last Friday, I gave you guys a round-up of some of my favorite posts on Healthy Hits the Spot. You can check that out for more reading here if you’d like.
  3. The launch of Finally Free is *this* Wednesday, March 18th. Circle the day on your Calendars ladies! You’ve been waiting, & so have we!!

Question before you go (I need your feedback!):

Do you like reading from left to right (writing aligned left), or do you like reading from the…

…center of the page (center alignment)?

I’ve continued to switch between the two, mostly because I’m feeling indecisive on which style makes it easier for *you* to read! Let me know in the comments 🙂 I love that you’re helping me decide!

Alrighty 🙂 I’ll be back tomorrow. I’ve got a topic in mind that I’d really like to talk about, so come back & join me!

xo, your coach
