Super Nanny Sunday: Appreciating Momma’s

Yep! It’s Super Nanny Sunday.

Where did this title come from? Well, as you probably saw in my last post, I am coming up with everyday of the week subjects, and for a little while, I am going to try some things out.

Seeing that I Nannied/Babysat this week a total of about 55 hours, something to do with babysitting and kids seems necessary. Aside from the fact that I LOVE kids, they are a huge part of my life.

I decided to write this post when I was thinking about the fact that I spent 55 hours of my week with Kids. Wow. Seems like a lot right? Well, it was- but, it’s only 1/3 of what Mom’s spend with their own kids. Before I start on my series of tips/stories/ideas/thoughts about Nannying, I want to take a moment to appreciate all you hardworking Mother’s out there.

Mom’s work 24/7, and over the years, I have developed a growing appreciation for them. There are 168 hours in one week. That’s a lot of hours to work! That’s like having 4 full time jobs.

This week I have witnessed Moms working in charities, creating meal plans, throwing Birthday parties, staying home from work to attend a first day of school, using their lunch breaks to run errands for the family, delivering meals to other families, and on top of that, juggling all of the other things like cooking, cleaning, doing laundry, doing bedtime, grocery shopping, etc.

As far as I am concerned, being a Mom is the highest job in demand. Kido’s need their Momma’s- I know I did! My Mom has shaped my life better than I could have ever hoped for. I feel lucky to be able to say that my Mom has never turned her back on me, she has always been honest with me, she has always supported me, she has worked hard to raise me, and she has always brought the most positive outlook to my life. I would like to take a line or two in this post to say: thank you Mom, for raising me so well. I honestly could not imagine having a more loving Mother. I hope one day I can be as great a Mom as you!

Yes, this is a photo of my brother Terry, and not me… but I had to post it, because my Momma is so darn pretty! I want that hair! 😉

Some of my best memories in life are times spent with my Mom, and I will surely remember them forever!

Comment below one thing about your Momma that you are grateful for, then make sure to show her 🙂

Love, Paige
