I woke up this morning in a rush to get to work. The past four nights I have been really trying to take advantage of getting sleep. Trying to sleep my cold away.
Going through pictures this morning I noticed that yesterday I must have had a major sweet tooth, haha. The funny thing, is I didn’t even really realize it. Most of the things I ate had a sweetness to them.
2 whole grain/oat pancakes with sliced banana and maple/agave syrup
After pancakes, I headed over to my parents house to do laundry. As I was doing laundry, I popped my head into their fridge (parents always have the best food) and saw freshly baked Irish Soda Bread that my Mom’s friend made her for coming into work on her day off. Uhh, yea. I was definitely going to have me some of that 😉
She even made fresh jam! So, I cut myself a slice, toasted it, sat down with my tea, and enjoyed it.
Not to mention, a small piece of dark chocolate as well.
I had a salad with bleu cheese, and a little bowl of gnocchi and greens
I know, it looks a little strange in the photo but it was really good. My Dad loves cooking greens, and he always comes up with the best recipes.
Around 8:00, it was Bachelor time with my family.
I snacked on corn burritos (beans wrapped in corn tortillas and then.. yes, fried)… bagel slices with spinach dip, fresh mozzarella cheese (that’s not chicken on my plate, you can imagine I felt like having ZERO meat yesterday after watching the video posted on my facebook page), and carrots w/ homemade bleu cheese dressing
And to go with it, red wine…. and almost always following wine, some kind of sweet
Ice cream… chocolate, vanilla, and caramel ice cream…
This morning I woke up excited for my greek yogurt, blueberries and granola!
