This Weeks Eats With Grocery Budget, Plan & List

Good morning ladies!

This post is gonna be long! I’ll keep the wording short so you can scroll through the photos ๐Ÿ™‚

Today is the round-up post that I promised on Monday when I did the Original post: “How I Eat Healthy & Organic on a Budget.”

We grocery shopped Sunday after Church, and then the eats started:

Sunday

kiwi

Snack: Kiwi

chicken villa

Dinner: Chicken Villa, Rice, and Beans + Salad

packed dinner away for next day

Packed leftoversย away for lunch the next day, and one for Marco to take to work.

Monday

brown rice toast and eggs

Breakfast: two slices brown rice bread + two eggs

leftover chicken villa

Lunch: leftover Chicken Villa + Rice & Beans

kiwi fruit

Snack: kiwi

split pea soup and tuna

Dinner: split pea soup with tuna + side salad (Marco had soup with toast underneath)

packed away husbands lunch

After dinner, packed away husbands lunch: leftover chicken villa, leftover split pea soup, Cheerio’s, milk, salad, and dressing.

Tuesday

corn tortillas with eggs and salsa

Breakfast: corn tortillas + eggs with salsa

paiges favorite green smoothie

Snack: “Paige’s Favorite Green Smoothie”

chips and salsa gluten free

Snack: gluten free chips and salsa (ate half chips, put half back)

brown rice bread with split pea soup and tuna

Lunch: brown rice toast with leftover split pea soup and tuna on top + pepper and Sriracha

talenti banana chocolate ice cream

Petite Treat: pre-dinner Banana Chocolate Talenti

baked potato and salad

Diner: salad + baked potatoย with broccoli, tomato, grilled onions, and green onions (ate only salad)

We both spoiled our appetites with ice cream before dinner so we packed the baked taters away for next day.

After dinner we packed Marco’s lunch: Cheerios, milk, salad, bleu cheese, honey yogurt, and a tuna sandwich on sourdough with romaine.

Wednesday

Breakfast: corn tortillas with eggs and salsa

leftovers for lunch

Lunch: salad with bleu cheese, garbanzo beans, tomato, green onion, and romaine + leftover baked potato chopped up and sautรฉed in olive oil.

Snack: trek mix that we’d had on hand already

banana and almond butter

Snack: banana + almond butter

chili over shredded cabbage

Dinner: vegetarian chili over shredded cabbage with onions on top + my leftover tea from work

packed marcos lunch

After dinner, we packed Marco’s lunch: leftover baked potato, leftover chili and cabbage, Cheerios, milk, and honey greek yogurt.

Thursday

eggs and brown rice bread

Breakfast: brown rice toast with eggs (Marco had corn tortillas, eggs, and salsa)

burrito from mom and dad

Lunch:ย amazingย burrito from Mom + Dad. Note, this is when we ran out of groceries. I posted about this yesterday!

This burrito wasย so good.ย I couldn’t wait to eat it. I savored it slowly with a fork — that’s how happy I was with it ๐Ÿ˜‰

green smoothies

Snack: “Paige’s Favorite Green Smoothie” for me and the Husb.

pizza from mom and dad

Dinner: pizza from Mom + Dad. Also amazing, also savored slowly with a fork!

Marcoย picked up Subway to take for lunch last night since we’re all outa food ๐Ÿ™‚

Friday

brown rice bread with eggs

Breakfast: two pieces brown rice toast with two eggs.

Since we’re all outa food, we’re going to TJ’s tonight to pick up a couple of things for dinner, lunch today, and lunch tomorrow. I’ll do our more “official” grocery shopping trip when we’re home from vacation Monday night or Tuesday morning.
