Hello from Venice Beach where I get to watch the two cutest little ladies ever!
Apparently, Harper is now a photographer too! (Lord, help me)
We ordered room service tonight! Remember all that pretty food I packed earlier? It’s going to stay packed. We split this goat/feta cheese platter and I am so beyond satisfied I doubt I’ll touch anything else tonight. I let Harper look over the entire menu and she decided that cheese definitely sounded the best. Everything else was very much “other than the best ever,” as David Wolfe would say 😉
This cheese platter included-
Bread, goat cheese, feta cheese, cashews, cranberries, raspberries, secchi artisan salami, and heirloom prosciutto… mmm, mmm good!
Look how excited she was… this one loves cheese! At least we got the two healthier choices of all the ones offered!
After dinner she had a spin-fest on this chair… and later was saying “my belly hurts”….
Poor thing! Spinning + cheese don’t sound like a good combo, do they?
These are a few pictures from the Hotel Balcony. Yep, we are in Venice alright! This place was right on the boardwalk. It’s only 9:00pm right now and it still sounds like noon outside. This place is pretty noisy!
Just lounging outside!
There were so many birdies in the sky tonight, and a helicopter. I said it was an airplane, and Harper was sure to inform me that it was not an airplane, but a helicopter. Shame on me for not thinking she would know the difference! 😉
Now the girlies are soooound asleep and I am going to do some work and finish up my lectures for the week. First test comes out Monday for school. Ahh! I always freak on the first test… I hope it’s not too intense!
Sooooo…. I went to post this to you all…. and I got asked to pay $9.95 for internet… nope! Sorry 😉
You guys will now be seeing this hours after I wrote it… I’m driving home in the middle of the night tonight, so I’ll post it before bed… You’re all going to get a 2am (my time) post! Hehe 🙂
Wishing you all a great nights sleep
