Weekly Eats: Amazing Food & Friends!
Hi girls! For the next couple of days, I’ll be sharing my daily eats with you.
Just a reminder, the purpose of sharing my own eats is for inspiration only. I hope with these posts you feel inspired to have fun with food, listen to your own body, and find freedom with food.
If you’re interested in working with me one on one to make peace with food, jump on my coaching list HERE. I’ll be sending an email out to everyone on my “Health Coaching Waiting List” this week with the last of my openings for 2015.
WEDNESDAY
Breakfast – honey greek yogurt, strawberries, gluten free granola, and flaxseed meal
Lunch – leftover veggie pizza from Woodstocks Pizza in SLO
Pre-dinner snack – open faced Ezekiel with pesto, prosciutto, basil, and tomato
I needed a snack to hold me over for the hour until dinner, and this was perfect. I was starving when I ate this and felt so much more calm after.
For dinner we went to The Range in Santa Margarita and boy oh boy was it good! For starters, I shared wine with Marco’s grandpa: Wolff Vineyards Pinot Noir. Soo good!
I also shared bread with the boys and tried one of each.
Me & Marco!
Marco got soup to start. I tasted a sip but didn’t get my own since I had a snack before we left. Great tomato basil soup!
You guys, for dinner I ordered lamb, something I wouldn’t normally order because it’s so fancy. Confession: I’m kind of a price scanner on menus. Whoops… this is a childhood habit for sure!
This lamb came with scalloped potatoes and veggies… HEAVENLY
THURSDAY
Breakfast – honey greek yogurt, strawberries, gluten free granola, and flaxseed meal + tea with coconut milk
Lunch – my favorite caprese panini with tomato, basil, mozzarella, and pesto
Oh, and this one also had prosciutto inside!
Petite-treat – dark chocolate
Dinner – a super veggie burrito from The Burrito Wagon at the SLO farmers market
I went to the farmers market this night with my two friends Adrienne and Shannon. We sat on the curb, ate burritos, and talked about Halloween and how weird dating is. <– Reasons why girl friends are so important.
FRIDAY
Breakfast – honey greek yogurt, strawberries, gluten free granola, and flaxseed meal + chamomile tea
Mid-morning on Friday I went to coffee with my new friend Morgan at Bello Mundo Cafe here in SLO. I ordered an almond milk mocha which was so yummy because they use homemade almond milk and shaven chocolate inside.
Lunch – my favorite caprese panini with added prosciutto
Friday night I spent some time at Scout Coffee writing blog posts & upcoming VIP newsletters, where I answer questions from YOU GALS and get super personal and real with you.
The last VIP newsletter I sent out was on finding your natural weight, and how to know when you’re there. If you missed it, 1) sign-up HERE to begin receiving newsletters and then 2) email me and I’ll send this one to you directly.
Dinner – gluten-free (brown rice) spaghetti noodles mixed with pesto sauce, arugula, and fresh cherry tomatoes
Now it’s your turn! Share with me in the comments: one thing you’d like to try from this post.
