We’re in love. Marco and I are in love with Reno, Nevada.
It’s only been a week since we moved here and we couldn’t feel more at home. So at home in fact, that I don’t even feel like we moved. This is largely due to the fact that I took partial time off (starting back at it full speed today), Marco is off until Sunday, and we’ve had lots of visitors.
We’ve been exploring everyday. In fact, Trader Joe’s and a home cooked meal is calling my name! I’ve loved it.
We’re happy and at home in our apartment – I posted a little home tour on Insta @paigeschmidt which you can still see in my highlights.
We’ve been looking at houses and keep coming back to one we’ve had our eyes on for a while (I’ll keep you guys updated – it’s not the farmhouse I referred to in this post, but is a similar style).
We’ve been enjoying:
- coffee shops
- trying different gyms
- spending time with friends (backyard campfires, dinners, Church, looking at houses, exploring new spots downtown)
- friends visiting
I even got my hair done yesterday, which I love. If any of you are in Reno go to Lokal salon and check out Chanelle Prescott (@whiskeyybusiness). She’s GREAT!
Pics from our first week…
This last photo is a breakfast burrito I’ve been making at home and it’s so good. Inside: two eggs, black beans (yes!), bacon, cheddar cheese and loads of salsa. YUM! Making this again today.
A few more things!
I was on Blair’s Podcast!
So thankful and honored to be on Blair Badenhop’s podcast – a podcast I LOVE and listen to myself!
In this episode I share how focusing on fun and authenticity has helped me to create a sustainable business (full of the best clients EVER – clients who I connect with and who are ready to show up and make change in their lives) and a life that I love!
Check it out here if you’re a business owner or are wanting to start a business and please share it if it resonates with you! Help me show Blair lots of love for having me on to share this different business perspective!
Karly is visiting next week!
Karly, my beautiful friend and assistant is visiting Reno next week. I cannot wait to show her around, go to a million coffee shops, hike, see Tahoe, and make lots of yummy food at home (Marco and I are so ready for some home cooking!) though we’ll definitely go out to a few of our favorite places.
It’s my client week!
As I shared at the beginning of the post, I was partially off work the past week as we got settled. I checked email during the week once or twice a day, met with two clients, but didn’t post or have a regular client week. This week it’s back at it! I couldn’t be more excited to connect with my clients. I’ve missed them!
Speaking of 1:1 coaching, my Discovery Sessions for April are almost maxed out. If you’re interested in working with me in my six-month program the best next step is to book a Discovery Session to find out if we’re a great fit. You can fill in the form on this page to request a session and I’ll get back to you ASAP.
I’ll be running Authentically You again very soon…
It’s looking like I’ll be starting another round of Authentically You via Instagram this month! If you’d like me to email you when I do, just leave a comment and say “add me to the list!” Your email will be attached to your comment for me to see privately. You can also check out the self-study version here.
All my love!
